What is a Bridge Church?

A Bridge Church receives ex-offenders and helps them re-enter society, and also reaches out to the families of ex-offenders.

Who's Who in MTN

Listed below are the churches and other organizations that are collaborating to provide tools for the successful re-entry of prisoners and for the support of the families of prisoners and ex-offenders.

Prison Fellowship

Tennessee Field Director Aimee Vance cultivates relationships with Mid-South prison communities and supervises the MTN Community Re-Entry Team in coordinating ministries to prisoners and their families.

Prison Fellowship Angel Tree

Partnering with local churches to provide Christmas presents to the children of incarcerated individuals and to develop ongoing relationships with their families. Lydia Langbein is the MTN Angel Tree coordinator.

Economic Opportunities

A business venture equipped to provide "hard to place" individuals with employment, personal attention, and intensive care. Program Director Jim Kennedy is a Community Re-Entry Team member.

Hope Presbyterian Church Urban Ministries

Following the Biblical mandate to serve the under-resourced and oppressed

Kairos Prison Ministry

Bringing Christ's love and forgiveness to incarcerated individuals, their families, and those who work with them, and assisting in the transition of becoming a productive citizen. Kairos Council member Vanessa Sweet, of Kairos Outside, is a member of the MTN Community Re-Entry Team.

LifeLine to Success

LifeLine to Success will provide clients with the support that is necessary to reenter society and have a positive impact in their communities. DeAndre and Vinessa Brown, founders of Lifeline to Success, are members of the MTN Community Re-Entry Team.
